College Football: Ranking the 10 best modern uniforms

Boise State is well known for its all blue “Smurf Turf” but that’s not the only all blue the Broncos have in their repertoire.

The Kellen Moore heyday is long gone at this point, but he really put the Broncos on the map. During his tenure as the starting quarterback, Boise State achieved unprecedented success, and the Broncos started to come out with slick new uniforms designs that have only improved through the years.

Perhaps, the school has reached its pinnacle as it now features an all blue uniform that not only goes well with the blue turf at home but anywhere for that matter.

The most striking detail of the entire set is the large helmet decal of a Bronco head, the team’s nickname. The grey color of the Bronco blends strongly with the grey Boise State across the chest of the jersey and also the grey Broncos on the pants.

The uniform also has an almost perfect amount of the orange secondary color to it. The orange can be seen on the one diagonal stripe on the shoulder of the jersey but also as the outline color of the numbers.

Out of the Group of Five teams, Boise State easily has some of the best uniforms and the all blue look is certainly one of its best.
