Louisville has been a part of the Adidas family for a while now and even amidst the school’s scandal with the basketball program involving its sponsor, the football team still has much to look forward to on the field with its sweet uniforms.

Adidas recently revitalized the Cardinals uniforms by getting rid of the stripe of their jersey and replaced it with a white wing design which fits the bill when it comes to the team’s nickname.

Last season, Louisville favored wearing its chrome red helmets to complement its red jerseys at home. This combination put the Cardinals on this list. In my opinion, this outfit makes the players look like actual cardinals on the field, which perhaps was the driving force behind creating the chrome red helmet in the first place.

The chrome red lid features a white version of the team’s Cardinal logo and it matches the logo on the pants exactly.

Lamar Jackson won the Heisman wearing the chrome red helmet in 2016, so why not bring it back for future seasons?

Louisville has a red and black color scheme that many other teams also use, but the incorporation of the team’s mascot into its uniform designs gives the Cardinals a bevy of options to wear when taking the field.
