Florida State is another team with an interesting mascot, the Seminole. The team pays tribute to the native tribe profoundly and that is reflected in its traditions and football uniforms.
Perhaps one of its best uniform was the all-black alternate uniform the team wore against Chattanooga in 2015.
The jersey had the updated design on the sleeves and the enlarged and more detailed Seminole spear logo on the helmet, but this uniform took Florida State to a new level. The garnet and gold are the typical colors of the team, but the black alternates gave the uniforms a new flavor.

The two-helmet and the tomahawk pride stickers add flare to the entire uniform itself and the gold facemask accompanies the gold numbers of the jersey.
While Florida State hasn’t been seen wearing this alternate jersey often, maybe it will make a return soon, or at least something similar to it. Willie Taggert has said in reports that the Seminoles will be “swagged out a little bit” in 2018.
Regardless, Florida State’s uniforms have become a staple in the game and with the addition of the all-black alternate, the Seminoles have one of the top uniforms in college football.
