Staying on the year 2015 and coming in at No. 3 is the Ohio State 2015 black alternate uniform the Buckeyes wore against Penn State.

Ohio State is another team that annually comes out with a new uniform, mostly new ones against their heated rivalry with Michigan.

In this case, the alternate jerseys weren’t worn against the Wolverines but were sleek enough to land a top-3 spot on the list.

The Buckeyes already have some of the best traditional threads, but the black alternate broke out the team’s dark side of the uniform spectrum. The design itself was very similar, if not the same as the home and away kits, but the black was a nice switch up from the norm.

The most noticeable difference in this uniform besides the color swap was in the helmet. Not only was it black, but it also featured new pride stickers. The stickers on these helmets were red and looked to be chromed-out.

This all-black alternate seemed to be a one time deal and will likely never be worn again, but because of how nice it looked, they are a safe bet for top uniforms worn by Ohio State within the last decade and for a top spot in best uniforms of all time.
