You’ve got to give UCF credit for this much: there is very, very little that can be done with their school colors of black and gold, and they have managed to make some reasonable attractive uniforms out of the combo. They’ve also improved by leaps and bounds from the horrifying, off-gold outfits that they rocked back in 2007. We should all be thankful for this.

That said, there just aren’t that many options for style when you’re wearing black and gold. UCF’s all-black getups are sharp, especially when paired with some of the sleekest helmets in the league, but there’s nothing special there.

The Knights have some gray alternates, but they look more or less like sweatpants. These are far from top-tier uniforms, but you’ve got to give the Knights points for innovation – they rock more alternate looks than almost anyone else in the AAC, and some have been really cool – and creativity, given the largely dull palette they’re working with.
