AAC Football: Ranking the best uniforms in the conference

As far as uniforms go, Memphis is pretty hit-or-miss. They’ve probably got the most variety in their looks out of all the members of the conference, and there’s something to be said for that. Originality is good.

That said, some of these uni options aren’t so great. The black-on-blue home look that the Tigers often rock? It’s fair.

But when they get it right, they get it really, really right. The tiger stripes on the helmet and jerseys are fire. The blue-and-white road getups, pictured above, are gorgeous. And don’t even get me started on when they bring silver into the mix.

I should note that 95 percent of my enjoyment of Memphis’ uniforms may stem from a desire to see a blue-and-white tiger. And can you blame me? A blue-and-white tiger would be dope. If Memphis can find a blue-and-white tiger and use it as a live mascot, I vow to move them to number one on this list.
