If you’re a Wolverines fan, you’ve got to love a story like Aidan Hutchinson.

His entire family before him had gone to school in Ann Arbor. He was the No. 1 prospect in the state of Michigan, and he committed to the Wolverines in the February before the 2017 season even began. He never wavered in his pledge, and signed with Michigan during the early signing period. He’s also Harbaugh’s highest-rated commit in his class of 2018.

It seems a foregone conclusion, then, that Hutchinson will see action during the upcoming season. He’s got a college-ready frame already, and is talented enough to slide into the Wolverines’ defensive rotation from day one. Coaches rave about his nonstop motor, and his athleticism can’t be questioned, as he played on both sides of the ball in high school — he excelled at tight end as well as on the defensive line.

Michigan looks like it’s got a star in the making here, as well as a tremendous family legacy.
