College Football: Top 10 quarterback/wide receiver duos of the 2000’s
Ever wonder how Robert Griffin III had such a prolific college career? For starters, he was incredible in his own right as he won the 2011 Heisman Trophy. He also was complimented nicely by a great receiver in Kendall Wright.
Griffin III was known to be both a gifted passer and runner and Wright was one of the main beneficiaries of that excellence. The duo took the field together between the 2008-11 seasons and never skipped a beat. Wright corraled 302 career receptions, 4,004 yards and 30 touchdown catches.
Griffin III is the current Baylor program leader in passing yards (10,366) and passing touchdowns (78). He also has the most touchdown passes in a single season (37).

Griffin III’s best year in a Baylor uniform was undoubtedly his last in which he claimed possession of the Heisman Trophy. In 2011, Griffin III passed for 4,293 yards and 37 passing touchdowns all while having the marksmanship to complete 72 percent of his passes.
