It looks to be a big year for running backs from the state of Oklahoma. Hill burst onto the scene in 2016, running for 1,142 yards in his first season in Stillwater. He managed to one-up himself as a sophomore, putting up 1,467 yards and 15 touchdowns in 2017, along with another 191 yards receiving.

Hill is a legitimate All-America candidate who the Cowboys will be leaning on as they attempt to break in a new quarterback and make a run at a Big 12 title. His productivity was remarkable last season – he ran for at least 100 yards in eight of his 13 games last season, and had at least 86 yards rushing in all but two. He finished as a First Team All-Big 12 honoree and led the conference in rushing attempts, rushing yards, rushing touchdowns, and yards from scrimmage. Not too shabby!

At this point, it’s just a question of how many records Hill can break before his OSU career is over. In the unlikely event he returns for his senior season, he’d be on pace to leave college as the Cowboys’ all-time leading rusher.
