Kentucky hadn’t made a bowl since 2010 when they signed Snell. In his two seasons on campus, the Wildcats have gone bowling each year. That’s how much of a difference-maker he’s been so far in Lexington.

His true freshman year was impressive, as he ran for 1,091 yards and 13 touchdowns. His sophomore season? He promptly topped those numbers with 1,333 yards and 19 touchdowns on the ground. His per-carry averages dipped a bit, but he still averaged a healthy 5.1 yards. Better yet, he became the first player in school history to record back-to-back 1,000 yard rushing seasons.

After receiving 262 carries in 2017, it’s safe to assume that Snell will be the focal point of the Kentucky backfield – and offense – once again in 2018. After that, it’s safe to assume that the Second Team All-SEC honoree will be off to be a workhorse once again, but this time in the NFL.
