Arguably no other program in the country can top the tradition of Notre Dame. While it has been 30 years since the Irish last won a national championship, the historic nature of the program is still relevant.

One of the best traditions is the Stadium Tunnel tour for fans arriving early on Friday. Fans have the opportunity to follow the same path the players travel on Saturday. What an awesome way to experience Notre Dame football. On Saturday, the tailgaters set up camp around the stadium, the Joyce Center and even the nearby Burke Golf Course. There is a ton of food and drink, including brats. Even just taking a walk around campus is worth it.

Notre Dame fans are not the most crazy or boisterous group of fans. However with the tradition and history being felt as soon as you step on campus, Notre Dame is a must visit for any college football fan.
