5. He’s trending upward

Justice Hill’s talents were discovered early on in his college career, although he was somewhat of an unsung prospect coming out of high school. Hill signed with Oklahoma State rated as a three-star recruit by ESPN.

As a true freshman in 2015, he established himself as a player to watch and his value has only continued to skyrocket. Hill closed out his first year in college by being the FBS Freshman Rushing leader and received the accolades of being named to the Freshman All-America and Second-Team All-Big 12.

He followed up that promising freshman campaign by being awarded a spot on the First-Team All-Big 12 last year in addition to finding himself in elite company as a semifinalist for the Doak Walker Award.

Moreover, he is coming off two straight 1,000-yard seasons. Last season, he also increased his workload by more than 60 rushing attempts while manufacturing nine more touchdowns.

The talented back’s experience should play a big part in his potential Heisman run in 2018. Aside from his physical gifts, his play can be marked by consistency and durability throughout his two years at Oklahoma State.

Hill has played in all 26 games the Cowboys have played since he was on the team and given the fact that he has yet to miss a full game due to injury, he has the clean bill of health to get the touches to put up big numbers.
