3. As dependable as ever

Justice Hill was depended on many times last year and he answered the call by having a fruitful second season in Stillwater.

His game-by-game numbers are astounding when delving deeper into them. Hill notched eight 100-plus yard games and four multi-touchdown games in his superb 2017 season.

He crossed the goal line at least once in all but two games last season — one of which was in a blowout win in Week 2 against South Alabama. The other was against Texas.

Pair these figures with the fact that Hill can carry the ball upwards of 30-35 times a game and he makes a strong case to be in the Heisman conversation.

Hill didn’t just produce on the ground either. Oklahoma State typically is a more pass-heavy team and he factored into the passing game as well. In 2017, Hill caught 31 passes for 190 yards and hauled in one touchdown catch.

The junior tailback may factor into the pass offense even more so this season since Washington is not on the team anymore. Even if he’s not lined up as a wideout, he can sneak into the flat out of the backfield to gain some extra yardage for his Heisman cause.
