After a thrilling win against Michigan State in East Lansing, Ohio State hits the road for the last time of the regular season. A quick trip east down to face the Terps in College Park awaits the Buckeyes.

Maryland is entering its third year under head coach DJ Durkin. The Terps finished under .500 in Durkin’s first year with a bowl loss and last year took a further step back with a 4-8 campaign. The expectations this year at Maryland are to improve and get back to a bowl, but another goal is to just keep healthy, especially the quarterbacks. Both Tyrrell Pigrome and Kasim Hill suffered season-ending injuries early last year and third string Max Bortenschlager started the rest of the way. No matter who the starting quarterback is this year, they absolutely must stay healthy.

The big question for the Terps is can they keep the game against the Buckeyes respectable. Ohio State has “The Game” looming, but would Urban Meyer’s team really be caught looking ahead? Probably not. The Buckeyes have tallied 62 points in back to back games against Maryland and while they will not break the 50 point mark this year, it still will be ugly. Ohio State cruises and prepares for perhaps the biggest game of their season.

Final: Ohio State 45, Maryland 13 (10-1, 7-1 Big Ten)
