Midway through the season and the Buckeyes have righted the ship after the Penn State loss. Up next is a visit from Big Ten West foe Minnesota.

Gophers head coach PJ Fleck is entering his second year and has a real problem with the quarterback situation. Conor Rhoda graduated, Demry Croft transferred to Tennessee State and junior college transfer Victor Viramontes left the program this past June, one semester after enrolling. That leaves only one scholarship quarterback, redshirt freshman Tanner Morgan. With no experience taking snaps, the Gopher offense will rely heavily on the rushing attack with what should be a pretty good offensive line.

None of this will matter to Ohio State. The Buckeyes should shut down the one-dimensional Gophers and then carve them up. Defensive end Nick Bosa terrorizes the Gopher backfield all day long while the trio of Dwayne Haskins, JK Dobbins and Mike Weber go to work on offense, scoring a combined five touchdowns. Minnesota scores some late points to make the score somewhat respectable in what will be another comfortable win for Ohio State.

Final: Minnesota 14, Ohio State 35 (6-1, 3-1 Big Ten)
