6. Indiana (Oct. 13)

Iowa rolls into Memorial Stadium for the first time since 2015 to take Indiana in a Week 7 intra-division match-up. The Hawkeyes haven’t lost in Bloomington since 2012 and have won three out of the last four. However, Iowa has seemingly struggled every time they visit the Hoosiers, not necessarily a house of horrors, but it’s definitely nerve-wracking. Iowa was a dropped touchdown away from losing in 2010 and players such as Antwaan Randle-El and James Hardy tormented the Hawkeyes in the past.

Indiana was not a bad football team in 2017, make no mistake about it, but it is very hard to be successful in the same division as Michigan, Ohio State, Michigan State and Penn State. The Hoosiers lose two dynamic players from last year’s squad in Simmie Cobbs, Richard Lagow and Tegray Scales. But Sophomore Peyton Ramsey now enters at quarterback and Tom Allen is a man who loves leading his alma mater.

Iowa has had little problems with Indiana the last two times the schools have played, but hopefully old habits do not die hard. Indiana returns a lot of offensive experience but the defense is a bit more green than fans would like. Thankfully, Iowa has the matchups to make sure this meeting between the Hawkeyes and Hoosiers has no chance to be disastrous.

Final: Iowa (5-1) 27 – Indiana 6
