While Notre Dame football hasn’t yet won a championship under head coach Brian Kelly, that hasn’t been due to a lack of talent. Here’s a glimpse at what an all-time Irish team under Kelly might look like.

Despite some of Kelly’s struggles as a Notre Dame coach, the Irish have seen a significant amount of success in player development across the board. This leads to numerous viable options among most positions. However, with numerous options come numerous snubs, so there are bound to be a few deserving players left off this list.

To qualify for this team, a player has to have played under Kelly for at least one season. Also, those who make this team will be restricted to the position or positions that they actually played while in an Irish uniform (with one exception). For example, while Quenton Nelson would serve as a fine right guard, he won’t be placed there as he has been on the left side his entire career.

Kelly has been with the Irish since 2010, leaving almost a decade worth of options at Kelly’s hypothetical disposal. Without further ado, here’s a look at the best team that could be assembled under Kelly’s time with the Irish.
