The Beavers are in rebuilding mode with a new head coach in Jonathan Smith. I’m calling for a winless conference season for Oregon State and this game will get ugly early.

Although Oregon State has won three out of the last four at home against the Trojans don’t expect an upset in this game. USC averaged five yards per carry in last year’s contest which was a decisive victory.

The key for this game for USC will be receivers Tyler Vaughns and Michael Pittman. Expect him to beat the OSU secondary for a long touchdown and Michael Pittman to use his return ability to take a punt return back the house.

Once USC gets out to a big lead look for Carr to finish the game strong and rack up another 100-plus yard performance with a few scores.

The Trojans will earn a decisive victory as they head into the last few games of the regular season.

Prediction: USC 45, Oregon State 17 (8-1, 6-1 Pac-12)
