The Trojans come into this game after a tough loss against Utah and they will be hungry to make a statement. This game should keep them in a solid place to stay in the top 15 of the polls.

Arizona State has hired Herm Edwards as its new head coach and the decision was met with a lot of skepticism in the college football world. He had success in the NFL but can that translate into success at the college level? There have been a select few who have been able to handle the rigors of coaching the NFL and going to college football who were successful at it.

Edwards never had a flashy offense when he coached in the NFL and I expect the styles of these two teams to be very similar in the aspect of running the ball down the opponent’s throats.

The Sun Devils just don’t have the talent to keep up with a hungry and angry USC team. Expect a big game from JT Daniels. Stephen Carr will continue his tear of dominant Pac-12 games and the defense will pitch a shutout for the first 3 quarters of the game.

This will be a huge win for the Trojans as they look to make a statement and a rebound in the Pac-12 North race.

Prediction: Arizona State 10, USC 47 (7-1, 5-1 Pac-12)
