Last Chance U: 5 players to watch at Indy C.C. in Season 4

The hit Netflix documentary Last Chance U is returning for a fourth season, and the series will continue following the Independence Pirates.

Independence Community College head coach Jason Brown boasts throughout Season 3 about his ability to recruit the best available players. Noticing he’s not all talk, Netflix is returning to Kansas for its second-consecutive season.

The first two seasons of Last Chance U followed East Mississippi Community College in Scooba, Miss. And just like at EMCC, the upcoming season will demand your attention.

A number of players from Season 3 have moved on from Independence, but a new crop is emerging. Already, the Pirates have six of the Top 101 JUCO recruits on their roster, per 247sports, including the No. 1 overall prospect.

Season 3 featured heavily on skill positions with players like Rakeem BoydCalvin Jackson, Jr., and Carlos Thompson, but we’ll likely see a change-up in Season 4. Who will the next batch of stars be?
