No. 5: Markiese King, Wide Receiver

Markiese King will be expected to replace the departed Jackson, Jr. and Thompson in the passing game, but the Texas product will be up for the challenge.

King’s currently ranked as the No. 81 overall JUCO recruit in the country, and at Indy CC he’ll have an opportunity to shine.

The 5-foot-8, King generated interest from a few top-tier Texas schools, including Baylor, TCU, Texas, and Texas Tech. He even held an offer from Louisville, but the Pirates are who he’ll play for in 2018.

Will King emerge as the No. 1 offensive threat for the Pirates in Season 4? Head coach Jason Brown is an offensive guy, and he might’ve found his go-to target in King this offseason.
