1. Early Season Statement

In the second week of the college football season, we get to see just what type of team Texas A&M will be in 2018. The Aggies take on the Clemson Tigers at Kyle Field, in one of most anticipated non-conference matchups this season. For obvious reasons, the Tigers are favored to win this game by many but there are some that think they could be in for a surprise. So what’s going to happen? The Aggies will upset the Clemson Tigers to kick off the Jimbo Fisher era.

Now this will not be a blowout win for the Aggies. The Clemson Tigers are one of the top teams in the nation and have arguably the best defensive line in all of college football. They will give whoever is at quarterback for the Aggies a headache but the difference maker will be running back, Trayveon Williams. Running between the tackles will be like running through a brick wall, but Williams has the speed to get around the edge of the line to open up the offense.

With this prediction comes a low scoring game, which means the Aggie win will have a lot to do with their defense standing strong throughout the game. Linebacker Tyrel Dodson will have his name said all night, going for 10+ tackles. A late defensive stand seals the deal as the Aggies win, 20-17.
