The Georgia Bulldogs have a tough slate ahead of them to get back Atlanta, GA for the SEC Championship Game. After a blowout win in week one, the Bulldogs travel to Columbia, SC to take on the Gamecocks, a game in which the Bulldogs could be on upset alert. Two weeks later, after another dominating win against a cupcake, Georgia is back on the road to take on the Missouri Tigers; another game that could have the Bulldogs finishing with a loss.

The Bulldogs then go home for two straight games, followed by another road game, against LSU, all of which should result in the Bulldogs’ favor. The Bulldogs continue their home schedule by playing Florida and Auburn in two out of three weeks; two games that could have the Bulldogs 2-0, 1-1 or 0-2. Georgia finishes it’s season with two more home games, UMass and Georgia Tech.

As mentioned before, the Bulldogs’ road back to the College Football Playoff won’t be easy. If they can avoid a couple early season upsets, Georgia should be in good shape for the rest of the season. But with inexperience being their kryptonite, the Bulldogs need to be clicking on all cylinders heading into the back half of their schedule, or a repeat of 2017 will out of the picture fast.

The Bulldogs have been dealt a good hand for 2018, and have all the tools they need to be dominate for a second year in a row. But are the losses too much for Georgia to overcome? Or will they conquer the SEC once again, on their way to another berth in the College Football Playoff?

Prediction: 10-2 (6-2)
