9. Michigan, November 3, Ann Arbor, MI

Traveling to Michigan is always hard, especially for Penn State. The last time Penn State traveled to Ann Arbor, Michigan dominated the game 49-10, which was the last lost before Penn State’s eight-game win streak that led them to the Rose Bowl in 2016.

This season, Michigan has transfer quarterback Shea Patterson, who played his first two seasons at Ole Miss. He was a five-star recruit and reminds me of a more athletic Christian Hackenberg.

He has a lot of talent and can make some spectacular plays, but he commits too many mistakes and has a low completion percentage. He will be better than John O’Korn was last season for Michigan, but he does not give Michigan much of an advantage over Penn State.

Their running game and defense will be the most difficult for Penn State to handle. If Penn State is able to score 28 or more points, they should be able to win this game.

This game will probably be impacted by which running game is most effective and who can win in the trenches. Penn State should win against this overrated Michigan team, but it will be a close game.

Final: Michigan 24, Penn State 28 (9-0, 6-0 Big Ten)
