11. Rutgers, November 17, Piscataway Township, NJ

Many people believe Rutgers should not even be in the Big 10, and Penn State will reinforce that fact in a blowout win over Rutgers as the end of the season approaches.

The Scarlet Knights finished 4-8 last season and 3-6  in Big Ten play. They lost 35-6 last season to Penn State, and it should be a larger margin of victory this season.

They did land graduate transfer running back Jonathan Hilliman, who will help their running game in 2018. Hilliman played for Boston College last season and finished with 638 rushing yards and seven total touchdowns.

Still, Hilliman does not solve their quarterback problems or defensive woes. Maybe former Ohio State co-defensive coordinator Chris Ash can turn around this program in his third season as their head coach, but a victory over Penn State will not be likely this season.

Penn State will come off last week’s loss looking to dominate and run up the score early. This will be another game where some reserves should get playing experience in the second half.

Final: Penn State 62, Rutgers 9 (10-1, 7-1 Big Ten)
