7. Indiana, October 20, Bloomington, IN

Penn State should be one of the top teams in the nation at this point in the season, and they will travel to Indiana for a game that many may underestimate. It should be another win for Penn State, but Indiana always plays tough in the Big Ten.

Last season, Indiana kept it close against Michigan and Michigan State, and they should beat one of those teams in 2018. They return many of their starters and top receiver Nick Westbrook, who had a medical redshirt last season after tearing his ACL in the opening game against Ohio State.

Indiana’s offense may be able to keep up with Penn State, but their inexperienced defense will not be able to shut down Penn State’s high-powered offense. Also, Penn State’s defense should be able to limit Indiana to less than 25 points.

This should be a win for Penn State even if they get off to a slow start. They will have to try not to stay focused and not look ahead to Iowa, who will want revenge for last season’s last-second loss in Iowa City.

Final: Penn State 42, Indiana 21 (7-0, 4-0 Big Ten)
