The Hurricanes made a lot of noise last year with the “Turnover Chain” and it took them all the way to the ACC title game. Mark Richt continues to bring in quality talent and Miami returns their top five leading tacklers from last year’s defense.

The schedule looks a lot better this year as they avoid Clemson and are talented enough to go undefeated in conference play. If they do that they could stay in the college football playoff discussion. Could a one-loss Miami team get into the playoffs? If they beat Clemson the answer could be yes.

Clemson is the most talented team in this conference on paper. They have arguably the best defensive line in the country and brought in another top-five five recruiting class. The main question mark is quarterback simply because it will be hard for Kelly Bryant to keep Trevor Lawrence off the field.

I strongly believe Clemson will go undefeated in conference play and they should have an explosive offense to go along with a suffocating defense to stay in the number one spot all year.
