1. The win prediction

I think it’s highly possible that the ‘Noles could have nine wins this season. I admit that this number may be a bit optimistic. The transition to a new coach and new offensive schemes may destroy the ‘Noles, but I don’t think so.

After watching the spring game, it’s obvious that this team is pumped. I think that the ‘Noles are going to have a stumble in Miami, and lose to someone random like Wake Forest. Boston College always plays the ‘Noles like a pack of starving wolverines, so it’s possible that the Seminoles could go down to Boston, also.

The last part of the season is going to be a struggle, what with Clemson, Boston College, NC State, Notre Dame, and in-state rivals Florida all in a few weeks. Despite this brutal stretch, I can’t see the newly galvanized ‘Noles losing more than two of these battles, and it’s possible that they could finish the season even stronger than they did last year.

While Florida will also be much improved under the implacable Dan Mullen, Florida State should handily extend its winning streak against the Gators for another year. It’s feasible that the ‘Noles could head into bowl season 9-3 or better, and I say, huzzah. It’s about dang time.
