Arkansas only managed one win in conference play last season and it came over the Ole Miss Rebels. In one of their less-than-stellar moments a season ago, Ole Miss found a way to squander a 31-7 second quarter lead, allowing themselves to be outscored 31-6 over the final 33 minutes of game time.

The Arkansas team that managed that improbable upset looks a lot different this season. Beyond the loss of star center Frank Ragnow to the NFL Draft, the Razorbacks will be installing a new scheme thanks to new head coach Chad Morris in 2018. This version of the Razorbacks will move much more quickly and incorporate more spread options into their system.

Suffice it to say, this is will be a very different Arkansas team. And that will make for a different result. The Ole Miss defense isn’t going too ooh and ahh with their prowess, but the Arkansas defense needs much more than a rebuild. Another relatively high scoring affair is in order, but the outcome of this one will never be in doubt.
