4. Nittany Lions will blow out Pittsburgh

Since renewing their rivalry in 2016, the Pittsburgh Panthers and Penn State Nittany Lions have split the series, each winning their hosted game.

In 2016, we saw a shootout that looked to be heading in the direction of a Penn State win, until a bad play call, and a receiver running the wrong route, gave the Panthers the win. But in 2017, it was all Penn State. And this season’s battle won’t be any different. The Nittany Lions will go into Heinz Field and blowout the Panthers.

The Panthers dropped off from 2016 to 2017, but should be improved this season. However, it won’t be enough to take down Penn State. With smack talk during the recruiting process and the rest of the off season. The Nittany Lions will take this game personal. It’s also the Nittany Lions’ toughest non-conference opponent, so winning my a large margin helps later on in the season.

Thanks to Heisman candidate, Trace McSorley, and running back, Miles Sanders, the Nittany Lions score four touchdowns in the first half on their way to big road victory.
