Week 1 of the college football season is here. What teams should be concerned and on upset alert in their first game?

Congratulations college football fans! You survived a long offseason and the best sport in the world is finally back. Your reward is a solid slate of Week 1 games. To fans, it’s like Christmas morning as a child. It truly is the best time of the year.

There has been a lot of offseason happenings, but now it is time for things to be settled on the field. Every week we will choose five teams that will be on upset alert. The upsets are based on the odds lines from Oddsshark and other factors. We will go from the highest point spreads to the lowest in our picks each week.

With Week 1 match-ups, it can be difficult to judge how a team is going to start the season so there were plenty of games to choose from this week. We narrowed it down to five intriguing games so let’s get to the list.
