Trace McSorley

The most important position in all of football is the quarterback. And for the Nittany Lions, they’ve have the privilege of having one of the nation’s best quarterback lead their team.

Since taking over as a starter in 2016, Trace McSorley has made the Penn State record book all his. With just a little under 1,100 yards to go, McSorley will have the season and career records in both passing yards and touchdowns at Penn State. And he is also the school’s all-time leader in total yards, tallying up 899 yards on the ground in his career. His running ability can be largely credited to his ability to read the defense in their RPO game plan. One of the best in the business, McSorley knows when to hand it off or keep it all for himself.

Entering 2018, Trace McSorley will not only be trying to end his career with another Big Ten Title but trying to deliver Penn State’s first National Championship in over 30 years. Lots of doubt surround the Penn State football team but that is just adding to the chip on McSorley’s shoulder. Trace McSorley is the Big Ten’s best quarterback, and he’s ready to show why.
