Cameron Smith was already on most fans radars after leading the Trojans in total tackles last season with 112. He looks right on track to do the same thing in 2018 after recording seven tackles with four unassisted, one sack, and two tackles for loss.

Smith surprised many by returning for one last season with the Trojans. His sights are dead set on making it as a first team All-American before beginning his NFL career. A hamstring injury looked to derail his offseason but he’s clearly not showing any signs of slowing down.

Cameron Smith will play a large role in the game against Stanford next week as Bryce Love tries to rebound from an atrocious performance against San Diego State where he finished with 29 yards on 18 carries.

This single-game performance from the senior would likely take the top spot if it weren’t for the next player.
