North Carolina State struggled most of the game against James Madison. At a few points, it looked like the Wolfpack fans would be in store for a monumental upset. Jacobi Meyers saved the day as he hauled in 14 catches (a career high), for 161 yards. The Wolfpack secondary will need to improve this week as they allowed James Madison quarterback Ben Dinucci to complete 23-of-27 passes.

UMass has been in the FBS for a few years now, so they aren’t the complete pushover they were when they made the big jump. Boston College was in complete control of this one, as quarterback Anthony Brown threw four touchdown passes in the victory. AJ Dillon put up respectable numbers rushing 20 times for 98 yards.

The Syracuse Orange have an explosive offense. They put 55 points against the Western Michigan Broncos and Eric Dungey looked like a much-improved player from last season. He ran for over 200 yards and had three total touchdowns in the huge win for the Orange.
