Although Florida State’s offense looked poor all night, there’s no denying they have talent on the roster. The Hokies defense played a near flawless game keeping the Seminoles out of the end zone. Josh Jackson threw two touchdowns and if he can manage their upcoming games effectively, the Hokies have the defensive scheme to be a threat to Clemson in the ACC.

Did you have any doubt who was going to be No. 1? The Tigers faced an easy challenge in the Furman Paladins, but there were still plenty of breakout performances. Trevor Lawrence led the offense to five touchdown drives, and the defense looked even better than last season’s and should be one of the best in the country. The Tigers face Texas A&M this week and the matchup should be one of the best in the country, it will be exiting to see how much the younger players on the roster play in this one.
