The Wisconsin Badgers did what was expected in Week 1, winning 34-3 over Western Kentucky. Heisman candidate, Jonathan Taylor started off his season with 145 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Their defense was clicking as well, allowing just over 300 yards of total offense, forcing two turnovers along the way.

The Badgers take on New Mexico in Week 2 and this game should be no different then their first. New Mexico should get more than three points but expect the Badgers to surpass their Week 1 total as well., as Taylor is poised to have yet another big game.

Just like the top dog in the Big Ten West, The Ohio State Buckeyes showed why they’re the top team in our rankings, demolishing the Oregon State Beavers 77-31. The only negative from the Buckeyes’ win was that three of the Beavers’ touchdowns came from 49+ yards including two touchdown runs that went for 78 and 80 yards. But eliminating big plays should be easy for this defense that scored a touchdown of its own.

The high powered, Buckeye offense is taking on the Scarlet Knights in Week 2, in a game that could see them scoring over 50 points for the second straight week. J.T. Barrett is gone, but Dwayne Haskins has gotten this Buckeye offense to a hot start.

Just like the Buckeyes, the college football season is just warming up. The Big Ten saw a lot happen in Week 1, now it’s time to see what’s in store for the conference in Week 2.
