The Notre Dame Fighting Irish has a great start to their 2018 campaign, beating the Michigan Wolverines. The Irish have a tough schedule this year, but it’s one that can bring them good fortune, even with a couple of losses.

If Notre Dame can make it though that gauntlet schedule of theirs, a New Year’s Six Bowl is more than likely. And who knows, maybe with just one loss, the Irish could be the four-seed in the playoff.
The defending Fiesta Bowl champions, the Penn State Nittany Lions, narrowly avoided an upset against Appalachian State in their season opener.
The run game is just fine with Saquon Barkley but their young and inexperienced defense could be the downfall of their season.
Luckily for them, playing in the Big Ten East has it’s benefits and another 10-2 season will have them right back in Arizona.
