The Commodores moved up two spots after beating Middle Tennessee 35-7. They still are in the bottom third of the conference, so this isn’t exactly a big move or something to celebrate about. However, they are starting to show that they may not be the worst in the conference on the football field.

No matter who it is against, a win is a win and the Vanderbilt Commodores are currently 1-0. They will host Nevada in Week 2 looking to continue a semi-successful start of the season.

Missouri stays put after a 51-14 win over UT Martin. Drew Lock did what we all expected Drew Lock to do, put up big numbers on offense and put his team in a position to win. However, they did so against an extremely lesser team.

Yes, I am aware that the majority of SEC teams played lesser opponents in Week 1. However, all that proves is that Missouri did not outplay anyone above them to earn a move up. They will host Wyoming in Week 2, looking for an opportunity to do just that.
