DE Isaihh Loudermilk and TE Zander Neuville, Wisconsin

Loudermilk is probable to play this weekend against New Mexico after missing Wisconsin’s season opener. He will provide some much-needed experience at defensive end for the Badgers.

Starting tight end Zander Neuville is questionable for this weekend as he continues to recover from ACL surgery. He and Kyle Penniston are the only tight ends on the roster with significant playing experience prior to this season.

Last week against Western Kentucky, Jake Ferguson was the only tight end to catch a pass, accumulating 43 receiving yards on four receptions. He was a three-star recruit and is a redshirt freshman this season.

When Neuville is able to return, the Badgers will have yet another weapon to improve their passing game, which is not that impressive in comparison to their rushing attack led by star running back Jonathan Taylor.

Both Loudermilk and Neuville are “able to go” according to head coach Paul Chryst, but Neuville may still sit out this weekend. Loudermilk is expected to play on Saturday.
