College GameDay was on the campus of Texas A&M for a Week 2 bout between the Aggies and the Clemson Tigers. Who did Lee Corso pick?

For Texas A&M fans, the “us against the world” mentality has only intensified following their move to the SEC and the hiring of their $75 Million coach, Jimbo Fisher. The roar of the crowd at kickoff is going to happen, regardless of who gamed College GameDay picker Lee Corso chose on Saturday morning in Spence Park. But it wouldn’t hurt to have one more reason to celebrate.

Texas A&M is a hefty underdog entering their Week 2 game against Clemson. As of the morning before kickoff, Oddshark has the Aggies as 12-point underdogs to Dabo Swinney and the Clemson Tigers.

It’s hard not to pick the Tigers, who are coming off their third straight ACC Championship and their third straight College Football Playoff appearance. Luckily for the Aggies, Corso doesn’t limit his options to the “conventional”.

Of course, things are a bit different when it comes to Texas A&M anyway. The mascot-less Aggies champion Reveille as their game day matron rather than having a student don an oversized costume. When College GameDay was in town two years ago, Corso sat down with Mrs. Rev to announce his selection of the Aggies:

This Saturday Corso had the same option available to him. When it came time to choose between the Clemson Tiger head and the Texas A&M Aggies, Corso made his selection:

Texas A&M and Clemson kick off at 7:00 p.m. ET at Kyle Field. The matchup is the featured game on ESPN Saturday night and could have potential College Football Playoff implications. Will Corso be right? We’ll just have to wait and see.
