2. Nick Bosa is a force to be reckoned with

Nick Bosa is expected to be one of the top selections of next year’s NFL Draft and on Saturday, he proved why he is such a highly-touted prospect.

The defensive end was all over the field and bolted through the Rutgers offensive line at times seemingly without being touched. His technique looks even more polished and he will give opposing teams a fit all year long with the skill set and sheer power that he harnesses.

He also got a couple of hard knocks on Rutgers quarterback Artur Sitkowski, who left the game after the first half due to injury. The Ohio State pass rush was on complete lockdown mode as it only allowed 65 total passing yards between Sitkowski and backup Gio Rescigno.

Not to mention the rush defense was stellar as well, holding the Scarlet Knights to under 100 rushing yards in the game.

The game felt really one-sided as the Buckeyes got their defense off the field in a hurry by forcing plenty of three-and-outs.

Three points, or a field goal, is all the Ohio State defense surrendered to Rutgers in 60 minutes of play. Most other teams could only dream of having that impressive defensive showing.
