Week 2 lived up to the hype, will Week 3 do the same? Here are my bold predictions for the third week of college football.

In Week 2, we saw quite a few near upsets, some questionable calls and a whole lot of the craziness that is college football. As we near the end of the first quarter of the season, we are starting to see who is going to emerge as contenders, who is going to be a middle of the road team and who is going to absolutely crash and burn.

Now, we head into Week 3, starting with my weekly bold predictions.

5. Herm Edwards and Arizona State continue to impress.

In Week 2, the Sun Devils shocked the world with an upset win over Michigan State. Now, the Spartans aren’t exactly the best team in the nation right now. However, many had already written off Herm Edwards and the Sun Devils this season. Fans around the nation weren’t exactly convinced that Edwards was the right fit for the Sun Devils. He has begun to show that he is in fact the guy for Arizona State.

The Sun Devils are heading to San Diego State to take on the Aztecs. This should be a relatively easy game for this team. However, they are only a 4.5 point favorite. My bold prediction? The Sun Devils glide past the Aztecs. Edwards and Arizona State are a good fit and this team is out to prove it.
