After a gut-wrenching loss against Clemson, Texas A&M football gets a slight reprieve against ULM. Here are three bold predictions for the matchup.

Texas A&M players and fans alike had their hearts ripped out on Saturday night against Clemson. A well fought, well-played matchup ended on a botched call– or so Aggie fans and some Clemson fans would tell you. Of course, it doesn’t help to miss a field goal in the first quarter and then lose by two, but I digress.

In Week 3, the Aggies get a reprieve before heading to Tuscaloosa to take on the defending national champions in the Crimson Tide. They will take on the Warhawks of Louisiana-Monroe. This game isn’t particularly exciting and likely won’t be much of a challenge for the team who just gave No. 2 Clemson a run for their money, but like I always say, weirder things have happened.

The Warhawks are 2-0 so far this season, beating Southeastern Louisiana and Southern Miss. However, they have won both of those games by a total of 4 points. Not exactly quality opponents or quality wins so far this season. On the flip side, the Aggies are 1-1 with a 59-7 win over Northwestern State and a heartbreaking loss to Clemson.

The Aggies are looking to reestablish a winning record as they enter Week 3. On that note, let’s get on with three bold predictions for ULM’s trip to Aggieland on Saturday night.
