Defensive Injuries

Marco Wilson – Florida

Marco Wilson was a starter as a freshman last season for Florida and was poised to have another great season for the Gators until suffering a torn ACL last weekend against Kentucky. He is out for the season and will have to wait until next season to get back on the field.

D.J. Beavers – Washington

Washington starting linebacker D.J. Beavers is questionable for the game against Utah due to a foot injury that forced him to sit out last weekend against North Dakota.

In Week 1, Beavers had eight tackles against Auburn in the opening game. The redshirt junior linebacker was a three-star recruit out of high school.

Jah’Shawn Johnson – Texas Tech

Texas Tech starting safety Jah’Shawn Johnson is questionable for the Red Raiders’ game against Houston. He missed their first two games of the season as well. Johnson is a senior with 257 career tackles and five career interceptions, so his presence on defense would be very helpful against a Houston team that has scored 45 points in both of their games in 2018.
