Ohio State Football: 5 reasons Buckeyes will beat TCU in Week 3

2. TCU’s defense will fold under pressure

As mentioned earlier, the Horned Frogs are giving up only 106 passing yards per game to opposing offenses. Those numbers are staggering and the secondary will need to play at that level to keep them in the game.

They won’t just have to slow down the Buckeyes passing attack they will have to force turnovers. Ohio State has a group of receivers that are very talented and both running backs can help in catching passes all well.

If the Buckeyes do not connect on a few early passes they will go right back to the bread-and-butter combo of Mike Weber and JK Dobbins. One of the leaders in the TCU secondary is Innis Gaines and he has nine tackles, an interception and four passes broken up so far this season. Can he step up in such a big game?

For TCU to have any chance of pulling off the upset he will need to play at his best and make sure there are no blown assignments in secondary.
