2. Hilliman, Blackshear and Pacheco each score touchdowns

Jonathan Hilliman and sophomore Raheem Blackshear both scored against Texas State in the opener and the running game averaged nearly six yards per carry against Ohio State.

Kansas is 66th in the nation against the run and allowed three touchdowns on the ground in its opening loss to Nicholls State. The Colonels busted several big plays on the ground, including a massive 40-yard touchdown run in the third quarter, that gave Nicholls State the lead. The Jayhawks defensive line allowed running back Kendall Bussey to run untouched to the end zone.

Pacheco leads the team with 97 yards on the ground. Blackshear (93 yards) and Hilliman (90 yards) are not far behind. This week, Hilliman and Blackshear will return to the end zone while freshman Isaiah Pachecho will score his first career touchdown. The game presents the perfect opportunity for the Scarlet Knights to lean on their backs against a stout defense and with an injured quarterback.
