4. The Eagles can compete in the Atlantic

Is it so far-fetched to think that the Eagles can challenge Clemson in the Atlantic? The Eagles took care of their first test this week, a road win over Wake Forest that was a better win than the score shows. Boston College should be 5-0 when it travels to NC State in early October. The Wolfpack have a ton of talent but have won the last two games played in Raleigh.

Florida State and Louisville appear to have taken major steps back in 2018, with both teams losing badly in the opener and then struggling to beat lowly opponents in Week 2. If Boston College can beat them behind Dillon and revamped passing attack, that leaves just Syracuse and Clemson left on the schedule.

Clemson has to travel to Boston College in November for its match-up. Boston College is a major threat to upset them in that game. From my perspective it is not far-fetched to think that Boston College could compete in the ACC Atlantic division this season.
