The College GameDay crew set up shop in Texas for a Week 3 showdown between the TCU Horned Frogs and Ohio State Buckeyes. Who did Lee Corso pick?

The biggest game of the Week 3 slate features a pair of ranked teams with bonafide College Football Playoff aspirations. Everyone knows Ohio State is going to be in the running at the end of the season, but Gary Patterson’s TCU squad has alway seemed to be just one win away. Defeating Ohio State would bring them one step closer to their goal.

Making their picks for the game on Saturday were the usual suspects: Kirk Herbstreit and Desmond Howard and Lee Corso. The wiley jokester made his call for the day’s slate, saving his most important pick for last.

Corso chose correctly last week, picking the Clemson Tigers to beat Texas A&M in College Station. The home town team gave Clemson a scare, but ultimately wasn’t able to complete the upset — there may or may not have been a questionable call involved. Ohio State and TCU project be in store for another close game, too. At the very least, we’re going to see some defensive fireworks and some high powered offenses.

Faced with the option of Brutus the Buckeye or the Horned Frog, Corso had two of the more interesting mascot heads to choose from. When it came time to make his selection final, Corso made some jests before making the announcement:

Ohio State and TCU kick off at 8:00 p.m. ET on ABC. There’s a lot on the line — a lot more than the accuracy of Corso’s selection. Who will end the night victorious? And will Corso be right once again?
