Grier wasn’t able to play in a game due to the Mountaineers and Wolfpack being canceled because of Hurricane Florence. Not being able to play knocks him down a few spots as other players leapfrog him after solid performances.

He still has an excellent stat line on the season with nine touchdowns and only one interception, so Grier should climb back up in no time.

Losing the game to North Carolina State could hurt his chances at the end of the season, but the Mountaineers face Kansas State, who is giving up less than 190 yards per game through the air.

Grier should be able to double those numbers and have an excellent game versus the Wildcats.

The next five games for West Virginia should be very good to his Heisman campaign as the Mountaineers also face Texas Tech, Kansas, Iowa State, and Baylor.
