2. Dwayne Haskins will win national title with Buckeyes

It may not happen this year, but Dwayne Haskins will lead Ohio State to a national title before he goes on to the NFL.

He had a great game as he posted 344 yards passing with two touchdowns. He also scored a touchdown on the ground and even though he is not the running threat that JT Barrett or Tate Martell are, he can still use his legs to continue plays and make the right pass down the field.

While Dobbins was keeping the defense honest with his strong running, Haskins was able to make the right reads and pick apart a TCU secondary that was giving up only 106 yards per game for the year.

Ohio State faces Tulane next week and you have to wonder if Haskins will look ahead to Sept. 29 and the showdown against Penn State.

If he doesn’t overlook the Green Wave he should put up another multi-touchdown performance. Haskins has all the talent to lead this team to the promised land and I expect it to happen sooner rather than later.
